Indian Concrete Institute

A student chapter of Indian Concrete Institute (ICI, Western UP Centre Ghaziabad) in the civil department of the JSSATEN has been established in the year of 2015 October. The student chapter includes faculty and student members. ICI is one of the leading non-profit organizations in India working towards professional needs of individuals and organisations. This professional body is involved in disseminating knowledge on Concrete, to Promote Concrete Technology and Construction and to address the Research Needs in the field of Concrete. Today ICI is a strong professional body having more than 13, 000 enrolled members, from 44 regional Centres in all major cities, spread across the entire length and breadth of the country. Of these, more than 353 are Organisational Members. All segments of cement and concrete industries are widely represented in the membership. To meet the objectives of ICI, the regional Centres conduct varieties of programs like Seminars, Workshops, Conferences, Exhibitions, etc. throughout the year. These are at both National and International level. Today, ICI has more than 11,500 members attached to its 33 centres spread across India. ICI also has 136 student chapters with more than 7,000 student members.
